The Rapture

Life is Short

Eternity is Forever

THE RAPTURE

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17: “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”

For those that have received the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, our citizenship is in heaven. We look to heaven. Jesus is coming from heaven to get us -- this is our blessed hope. We await that glorious day – “The Rapture”.

When He cracks the sky, in a moment – when He calls our names, we are going to be changed. This is our blessed hope. Our bodies will look like Jesus’ glorious body. Jesus will call us by name and will bring with Him those that have already died in the Lord. When He sounds His voice, the dead in Christ will rise first. The graves will open up and glorified bodies will rise, and we which remain alive on the earth will be changed -- in a moment of the twinkling of an eye, we will get up and He will say come up hither … ”and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” We await His coming. Jesus is coming back!

Why was I born?
Why was I born?

To Do God's Will And To Glorify His Name

. . . the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

1 John 2:17

. . . ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

1 Corinthians 6:20

Is this all there is to life?
Is this all there is to life?

Jesus came that you might receive eternal/everlasting life.

Jesus said, "I have come that (you) might have life, and that (you) might have it more abundantly."

John 10:10b

Where will I go when I die?
Where will I go when I die?

Heaven or Hell

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life and shall not come into condemnation;  but is passed from death unto life. Marvel not a this, for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

John 5:24, 28-29

God loves you.

God Loves You.

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him (puts their trust in Christ and surrenders their life to Him) should not perish (be condemned to the Lake of Fire), but have everlasting life.

John 3:16

God has provided

the way to truth and eternal/everlasting life.

“I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE:

no man comes unto the Father, but by Me.”
